Suzuki will again run a 'bitzer bike' at Jerez this weekend as they did in Qatar, with 2007 aero and main chassis components, but with a 2008 engine, ECU, brakes and suspension.
Both Loris Capirossi and Chris Vermeulen have admitted they have more confidence with the bike going into the corners, saying it has more downforce and feel as they tip the bike in.
The duo struggled for pace at the season opener in Qatar, with Capirossi finishing in eighth while Vermeulen was down in 17th.
The 2008 hybrid machine is on the weight limit at present with "more power that is enough for the riders to feel", according to team boss Paul Denning.
