Tech 3 duo get pneumatic valve engines

James Toseland and Colin Edwards' Tech 3 Yamahas both will have the straight four pneumatic valved engine fitted into their chassis for this weekend's Portuguese MotoGP.

Mechanics were making the final preparations this afternoon after the four M1s passed scrutineering this morning.

Toseland and Edwards lost between 7-9 km/h on straightline speed at the opening race in Qatar, which had a long straight similar to this weekend's Estoril race.

In order to keep up with the front-runners in Qatar, Toseland was forced to run corner speeds at times seven km/h faster than fellow Michelin runner Jorge Lorenzo.
